A 33-year-old lady contacts me over the phone, discusses with me about her the challenges, problems she faces in life. I used to suggest her mantras, switchwords from Naran Sir’s teachings based on her problem/situation.
Problem with Mother in law
Lady: My mother in law is 85 years old and she has 5 sons and 3 daughters including my husband. But none of them are taking care of my mother in law. I am the only one who take care of her always. Her health condition is not stable, and she has to get admitted in ICU where she stays for 10 days or more. I manage house hold work and also attend to her. I am unable to spend quality time with my children or look after their needs. Hardly I get 2 hours of rest in a day.
Student: I asked her to write these switch words “Sweet chestnut Change Divine order Find divine order” and asked her to chant “Thanks Divine Order” whenever she is attending to her mother in law’s needs. There was no contact from her for the past 4 months.Yesterday, she phoned up and shared her experiences on the switch words.
Lady: For the past 4 months, so many changes had happened in my life. I started accepting my responsibility of taking care of my mother-in-law without complaining, attending to children’s studies, household chores. Surprisingly, I am pursuing my dream higher studies in architecture, which I could not do in the past 10 years. These switch words have changed my approach towards life. I am happily living in the same situation which I complained 4 months back. Thanks to the wonderful switch words.
